The company that I interned at for 8 weeks, Fuji TV, had a station based in Odaiba – which is a pretty popular location among many tourists who visit Tokyo.
They’re known for having touristy locations & attractions like,
- TeamLab Borderless : A super cool exhibit that I totally recommend visiting if you don’t mind being in a dark dark building for hours, where you’re constantly questioning yourself, “wait, was I in this room like 5 minutes ago, or is it a different one?”
- Fuji TV Building : They have an observatory deck which is shaped in a sphere and looks extremely futuristic from afar and cool when you take the Yurikamome into Odaiba. I wasn’t able to go up to the deck, but I’ve heard from others that it’s was pretty cool!
- Unicorn Gundam : The Unicorn Gundam, which my short review video is about – per the request of Devin, was conveniently located maybe 3 minutes away from the office building I worked at. Every morning this Gundam reminded me of how I will have to work another day from 9 AM – 5 PM, and when heading home he/she reminded me that I’ll have to be here again tomorrow from 9 AM – 5 PM. #unpaidinternlife
I’ll continue using this platform to post vlogs & short blogs about my experience in living / working in Tokyo for 8 weeks.
